Young Snooki wannabes are going to have to get tan old-fashioned way.
Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo signed a law Monday raising the minimum age for using tanning machines from 14 to 17. New Yorkers who are 17 or 18 must now get parental consent before they can use a booth.
Cuomo acknowledged the hardship the law would cause booth owners, but said protecting kids was more important.
The law goes into effect in 30 days.--
