The D train in the Bronx will be shutting down overnight this week as the MTA’s Fastrack maintenance program will hit the area.
Starting Monday night and lasting until Friday morning, the D train will be suspended in both directions between 205th Street and 161stStreet-Yankee Stadium from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. as crews service tracks, signals, cables, lighting, third rail components and platform edges. (Yankees fans, worry not — there are no games at Yankee Stadium this week.)
The MTA advises using the No. 4 instead, and free shuttle buses will provide connection service between the 205th Street D and the Mosholu Parkway 4 stations.
