While JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater was at Queens criminal court Tuesday to answer for his shenanigans last summer, his boyfriend's brother burglarized their Belle Harbor house, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said Wednesday.

Jonathan Rochelle, 39, also of Belle Harbor, was arrested on charges of second-degree burglary, Brown said. He was awaiting arraignment at Queens Criminal Court in Kew Gardens Wednesday.

Sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., Jonathan Rochelle gained entry to the apartment Slater shares with Ken Rochelle and stole a laptop, printer and microwave, according to the DA.

"The defendant is accused basically of a crime of opportunity - brazenly breaking into his brother's apartment in broad daylight when he knew that nobody would be home," Brown said.

Slater himself was at the criminal court Tuesday to plead guilty to charges of criminal mischief for an Aug. 9 incident in which he swore at a passenger on a JetBlue flight that had landed at Kennedy Airport, then deployed the emergency exit chute, sliding down to the tarmac.
