The announcement took place on “Good Morning America” Wednesday. The show premieres Sept. 19 on ABC.

Among the notable pairings are: Chaz Bono — the show’s first transgender competitor — and Lacey Schwimmer; Rob Kardashian (brother to Kim, Kourtney and Khloe) and Cheryl Burke; former “Hills” star Kristin Cavallari and Mark Ballas; and George Clooney ex Eilsabetta Canalis and Val Chmerkovskiy (brother of Maksim).
