I'd say my third season in New York has been the most fun I’ve had as a Knick.

Each year we’ve improved, and personally I’ve worked to be a more aggressive player so that I can contribute to the team’s success in as many ways as possible. With all of the new players, it’s been so exciting to see what we’re capable of as a unit. So far, I couldn’t have asked for a harder-working group of guys, all focused on the goal of winning.

I’m sure for the fans, watching us is exhilarating at times, but as a player it’s so fun to be a part of what’s happening in this city. Walking in the streets, I can feel the fans are behind us and proud of our dedication to giving them a successful season. I’ve been here for ups and downs and had some great individual accomplishments, such as experiencing my first All-Star Weekend and participating in the Rookie/Sophomore game and the 3-point contest last season. This season, it’s a completely different honor to be included on the Eastern Conference All-Star ballot with my teammates, Amar’e Stoudemire and Raymond Felton. We would love to represent New York as All-Stars in Los Angeles.

Not only have Amar’e and Ray been great professionals and leaders, but the entire team is more focused, and that’s what has helped motivate me to get back on the court.

It’s been rough missing games after spraining my left knee against Indiana last week. I don’t want to miss a minute on the court helping my team, but I’ve been taking the advice of our medical staff and resting and rehabbing. Every day I’m working out on the sidelines with our trainers while the guys are on the court. I’m keeping the rest of my body in game shape by sticking to my regular routine in the weight room.

My body’s feeling really good and hopefully I will be back on the court with the team at Madison Square Garden next week.

Until then, New York ... a tutto motore!
