Aging in Hollywood clearly has taken a toll on Demi Moore, who's grown increasingly depressed about the path her acting career has taken in the past 18 months, according to RadarOnline, which also claimed the actress has grown dependent on prescription meds to deal with anxiety and depression.
The 49-year-old "Striptease" star "is very, very unhappy with her acting career. [She] is despondent because she feels that her career has stalled. It's been a very long time since Demi was the marquee star that would open a movie," a source told Radar, adding that "she feels if she is seen out with her daughter and Rumer's friends, that might help increase her chances of being offered a role that might go to a younger actress."
It's been a rough few months for Moore, who is in the process of divorcing her allegedly cheating younger hubby, Ashton Kutcher, 33.
Moore's next flick "LOL," with Miley Cyrus and Ashley Greene, has finished filming but doesn't have a release date. According to sources, Demi doesn't have "any future projects lined up."
