SoHo’s Armani Exchange outpost got a serious case of shopping shock when designer Giorgio Armani himself popped by for a surprise visit on Thursday afternoon.
After greeting the staff, the legendary designer headed straight for the men’s racks — paying extra attention to the freshly stocked supply of underwear, a shopper dished to amNewYork.
Armani — who shopped with an entourage of 10 friends — picked up "a lot of men’s clothing,” the spy said.
On his way out, the “very friendly” designer took a few photos with customers.
