Designers celebrate 'You Can't Fake Fashion' handbag collection
You can't fake fashion - or a good party.
A handful of Big Apple designers, from Tracy Reese to Rebecca Taylor to Steven Alan, flocked to a party at The General on Monday night to celebrate their contributions to the "You Can't Fake Fashion" handbag collection, which benefits the CFDA Foundation to fight counterfeits and support authentic design.
Ninety designers created custom bags, which are being auctioned off on eBay through March 25.
Ralph Lauren, Prabal Gurung, Diane von Furstenberg, Rachel Roy (whose design is shown to the right), Tory Burch, Michael Bastian and Nicole Miller also designed.
