DJ Earworm mashes up best of 2010
Since 2007, DJ Earworm has made it an end-of-the-year tradition to make a super mix out of the Billboard top 25 songs of the year. The 2010 edition, "United States of Pop (Don't Stop the Pop)", is out today, and you can download it (as well as see what tracks he used) here. Be warned: It sure does feature a lot of Ke$ha.
The mixes kind of function as musical time capsules each year. Compare, for instance, 2007 with 2010, below. Pop music doesn't seem like it's changed that much in three years, but you can definitely hear a progression from hip-hop and rap to sticky-sweet girl pop.
