Dolly Parton will not be on 'Dancing with the Stars'

Dolly Parton's particular brand of glitz, glitz and more glitz would be a match made in "Dancing With the Stars" heaven, but it seems the country icon won't appear on Season 14 of the show, despite earlier rumors.

Apparently, an insider told HollywoodLife.com that Dolly was in "discussions" with producers and that she "had requested to dance with [pro] Mark Ballas."_

Wetpaint Entertainment reached out to Parton's rep, who denied that the singer would Argentine tango her way onto the show.__"I can confirm [Dolly] is not participating in DWTS next season," the rep said.__The cast for Season 14 will be announced on Feb. 28 on "Good Morning America."
