A 21-year-old driver gave two Staten Islanders an early morning wake-up call Wednesday when he plowed his car into their house.
Police said Joseph Jamaleddine was driving while buzzed when he crashed into an Arden Heights home around 5 a.m.
The homeowners were uninjured.
Jamaleddine tried to run away after the crash, leaving a passenger in the car, but he was caught shortly after, police said. He was charged with driving while impaired, leaving the scene of an accident and criminal mischief.
