The Quack now leads the pack.
Oregon claimed the top spot in Sunday's college football's AP rankings after former No. 1 Alabama fell to Texas A&M 29-24 on Saturday.
The Ducks improved to 10-0 Saturday after a 59-17 drubbing of California, and received 45 of the 60 first-place votes.
Kansas State (10-0), fresh off a 23-20 win against TCU, moved into the second slot and took 14 first-place votes, while Notre Dame's climb continues as the Fighting Irish moved to No. 3 after beating Boston College 21-6.
