Eli Manning can win a Super Bowl, but can he deliver a joke on live TV?
The star Giants quarterback is set to host "Saturday Night Live" May 5 for the first time, following the path of his older brother Peyton, who helmed the show in 2007 after he led the Indianapolis Colts to a win in Super Bowl XLI.
Eli, 31, is fresh off his second Super Bowl title with the Giants, after he and Big Blue defeated the New England Patriots 21-17 in Indianapolis.
Rihanna will be the show's musical guest, her third time on 'SNL.' The announcement came during this past weekend's show.
This actually won't be Eli's first time in studio 8H, as both he and the Manning parents were in the audience during Peyton's appereance on the show.
Indeed, the elder Manning, now the Denver Broncos' QB, set a high bar for Eli with his famous United Way faux-commercial, which went viral almost instantly and still holding up among the best of the show's parody commercials. (Video below.)
In the spot, Peyton insults and hurls footballs at a group of kids – as well as teaches them how to break into cars and gives one child a prison tattoo – all in the guise of an advert for United Way.
