I know. No one likes trying on a faux fur in August, but you catch yourself doing it, don’t you?

Believe me, walking around SoHo this week has been more exciting than seeing the word “sale” everywhere. This season, there are many cool trends, so I decided to compile my favorite fall pieces during a shopping trip with my daughter Sea in SoHo.

I started at Prada (575 Broadway, 212-334-8888) — I couldn’t help myself, with the store’s mysterious windows and their amazing styling.

I go to Prada to dream a little. Right now, my loves there are the distressed bowling bags, the faux furs and the platform velvet heels. The boutique’s layering of sweaters under dresses is very chic and cool, too.

After Prada, we did a little shopping for my daughter at the PacSun SoHo Pop-up Shop (583 Broadway, 212-219-2480), where she loved Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s new line for the brand, dubbed Kendall & Kylie x PacSun.

I actually loved the collection, too. It’s strange how the younger Jenner daughters are getting it right, but the older Kardashian sisters have yet to have a line that is good, except for their nail polish colors.

We then ventured to SEE Eyewear (423 W. Broadway, 212-226-1356), where they have the best array of glasses that are durable and chic. As a mama bear, I love form and function.

As we made our way over to the Chloe boutique (93 Greene St., 646-350-1770) to see the new Baylee bag, we stopped into my all-time favorite, APC (131 Mercer St., 966-9685), and saw the most simple, chic, dark- blue dresses for fall.

Even though Sea and I are cutting our hair to our shoulders — the haircut of choice this season — I just loved the headbands at Wink (129 Prince St., 212-334-3646). They are ladylike, chic and made me feel like I could hop into a Jane Austen novel — or the new movie “Austenland.”

Isabel Marant (469 Broome St., 212- 219-2284) is on the tip of every fashion lover’s tongue. This season, I love her ’ 70s suede skirts, but I’m obsessed with the navy blue suede pumps.

I’m sure I’ll find more fashion loves for fall, but that’s my list for now. Happy shopping!
