2 men dead after car crashes into truck on Grand Central Parkway in Queens

The NYPD says two men were killed when a car rear-ended a truck that was stopped on the shoulder of the Grand Central Parkway in Astoria, Queens, on Friday.
Eran Felices, 32, of Queens, and David Garcia, 36, of Manhattan, were pronounced dead after the crash. Police said when they got to the scene, the two men were found unconscious and unresponsive inside a 2014 black Hyundai Elantra.
The crash happened at 2:42 a.m. Friday when the eastbound Hyundai hit the back of a 2011 white box truck parked on the right shoulder of the parkway near the 31st Street overpass.
The 35-year-old truck driver remained at the scene.
Police said the investigation is continuing.
