Eva Longoria on Jets QB Mark Sanchez: 'We're happy just dating'

Mark Sanchez is officially off the market.

The hunky Jets quarterback has been spotted out and about recently with "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria, and now the actress has confirmed that she and Sanchez are in fact an item.

"Mark and I are, you know, fine," Longoria told "Extra!" host Mario Lopez Thursday. "We're happy just dating."

She admitted the coupling only after jokingly calling Lopez an "a------" for asking about it.

In June, Longoria, 37, split from on-again, off-again boyfriend Eduardo Cruz (Penelope Cruz's younger brother). Sanchez, 25, was most recently linked to "Sports Illustrated" beauty Kate Upton.
