FAA: Turbulence delays LaGuardia flights

As a result of turbulence, flight arrivals to LaGuardia Airport were experiencing average delays of just over an hour, as of mid-afternoon Thursday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration website.

Departures are being delayed up to three-quarters of an hour, the FAA said.

Most flights at Kennedy and Long Island MacArthur airports were not affected, the FAA said.
