Singer Chris Brown dumped his Twitter account Sunday after exchanging vulgar insults with comedian Jenny Johnson, causing some of his 11.6 million Twitter followers to threaten the Houston-based entertainer.

Johnson, who has repeatedly needled Brown on Twittere since his 2009 assault on Rihanna, incited the star's ire after Brown used an expletive to admit he looked old, even though he is only 23.

"I know! Being a worthless piece of s--- can really age a person," Johnson tweeted back. Brown responded by ordering Johnson, who has almost 328,000 followers, to remove her teeth before performing an a particular act of intimacy, and called her a "hoe." She corrected his spelling and called him an expletive.

Some of Brown's fans went on the attack against Johnson

"thanks to you! Chris has deleted his twitter! I can f----n kill you" wrote one fan. "I would not wish anyone death but I hope you die," wrote another.

"It's alarming how many death threats I'm receiving . . . Not cool," Johnson tweeted.

Others came to Johnson's defense on Twitter, pronouncing her a "hero," and suggesting she receive "some sort of Internet medal."

Brown's representative did not respond to a request for comment.
