Here are some players to consider starting or benching as we approach the halfway point of the season.
Start
Darren McFadden (RB, Raiders) - He has been disappointing so far, but Oakland is playing a slew of weak run defenses in the next few weeks to help him bounce back.
Andrew Luck (QB, Colts) - Luck has shown he is a threat to run as well as pass, and this week's opponent, the Titans, can't defend either.
James Jones WR, Packers) - As long as Greg Jennings is hurt, Jones is a great player to consider for your lineup.
Sit
Cam Newton (QB, Panthers) - The Bears have the best defense in the league, and something has been off about Cam this year.
Steven Jackson (RB, Rams) - Now splitting time with Daryl Richardson, the aging Jackson is worth benching against the Pats.
Michael Crabtree (WR, 49ers) - Expect the Cardinals to stick Patrick Peterson on him and shut him down.
