Fashion Week: Adam fall 2011 show report
“If I were a lady and I needed cute, cozy, wearable clothes, I would definitely buy Adam,” said our male seatmate of Adam Lippes’ Saturday fall showing, which was inspired by a recent visit to the National Museum of the American Indian.
And indeed, the designer put out a collection of creative, covetable pieces peppered with closet staples, worn by sexy, geek-chic models. Included: a cobalt lumberjack pullover, an alabaster blanket coat, a skirt hemmed in feathers, and a stunning gold-embroidered tribal-print cocktail number.
