Carolina Herrera presented her audience Monday with a collection that seamlessly embodied the CH woman: sophisticated, elegant and monied.
Spring was definitely in the air, as evidenced by her palette of canary yellow, shades of green and dreamy sepia tones.
The effortless canvas coat dresses, crepe de chine shirtdresses and cotton shifts spelled easy-breezy springtime luxury, while the designer's signature gowns wowed with crystal embellishments, geometric embroidery and silk-ribbon detail.
In terms of models, Herrera always snares the crème de la crème, so for those who follow such things, the runway was a veritable who's who (Arizona! Karlie! Jourdan!).
Bags and belts made the scene, too, pulling together the looks and lending them a distinct South of France sensibility.
