Ronson

Charlotte Ronson’s Fall 2011 ready-to-wear collection kept in line with the grungy, angsty thing she’s been fond of the past few seasons, although certain touches — super-holey tights, for example — felt too contrived. The styling wasn’t our favorite, either, as the items didn’t really shine when grouped together.

However, when viewed as separates, each piece had merit, especially belted chunky sweaters, flared trousers and flouncy floral minis.

The models fit the theme, stalking seriously down the runway to the brooding sounds of Adele and Arcade Fire, courtesy of DJ Samantha Ronson.
