Fashion Week: Herve Leger fall 2011 show report

As per usual, Herve Leger’s classic bandage dress was the centerpiece yesterday of his fall 2011 collection, which we found to be a tad on the repetitive side.

However, for ladies who love that look — and there are plenty of them, including front-row gals Karolina Kurkova and Alexa Ray Joel — at least there will be a variety of choices out there this fall.

Bandage went bondage in a handful of looks, giving the collection a tough sensibility about it, with leather harnesses strapped around the models’ bodies. Others featured chunky gold hardware, silver chains, leather studs or cut-out detailing. The color palette was rather sedate — dress after dress in white, beige, nutmeg and black.
