Fashion Week: Rolando Santana Fall 2011 show report

dfgdfg
After working primarily with an airy neutral palette last season, Rolando Santana took a turn for the dark with his strong Fall 2011 collection, which debuted Wednesday night at Exit Art.
The models — all vamp and vixen in inky lipstick and most in black opaque tights — showcased a string of looks that had just the right amount of edgy accessibility. Garments with cleverly-placed black leather panels kicked things off, followed by deep-toned bodycon jersey dresses, striking plays on the LBD (which, in this case, stands for both black and bronze), expertly-crafted fur vests and a "Black Swan"-ish feathered jacket that we're seriously craving.
One particular look got the crowd all hot and bothered — a show-stopping gown made entirely of dark sequins with a sexy draped back — and it had us quite literally ready to throw it on and gun it to a black-tie affair.
