FDNY: Empty NJ Transit train derails in Penn; no LIRR delays
The Long Island Rail Road reported no delays Wednesday morning after a New Jersey Transit train derailment at Penn Station.
New Jersey Transit said one of its trains, which had no passengers, derailed Wednesday morning in Penn Station.
New Jersey Transit reported 20 minutes delays into Penn Station, but others who use the busy station, including the Long Island Rail Road, reported no impact on service.
The New York City Fire Department said it responded to a derailment on Track 4 at 5:18 a.m. and that there were no injuries.
