amny Credit: A school bus near Macy's on 34th Street/Rachel Miller

A school bus caught fire Tuesday morning on 34th Street near Macy's, forcing closures on 34th Street and eyewitness accounts of large plumes of smoke filling the air.

The FDNY told amNewYork that there were no reported injuries, and that the cause of the fire was unknown. Two units were on the scene.

Update: The FDNY said the fire was not suspicious, and Seventh Avenue has reopened and the fire has been cleared, reports the Village Voice.
