The feds are searching for someone who pointed a laser at two planes landing at LaGuardia Airport on Saturday night, according to NY1.
A laser was pointed at a Jetlink flight around 6 p.m., and again at a United plane around 7 p.m., Federal Aviation Administration officials said.
Both planes were reportedly landing on the same runway.
Reported incidents of lasers pointed at U.S. flights has skyrocketed in recent years, according to FAA statistics, from 283 in 2005 to more than 2800 last year.
