Firefighter accused of selling pills

A firefighter has been busted for allegedly peddling oxycodone behind a Barnes & Noble in Staten Island on Saturday.
Christopher Lynaugh, 40, was slapped with a 30-day suspension by the FDNY after getting arrested at the New Springville bookstore's parking lot around 6:15 p.m. Off-duty at the time, Lynaugh was charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor for criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance.
An FDNY spokesman said Lynaugh was stationed at a Staten Island firehouse and has been with the department since 2002. He earns $76,488 a year, according to city records.
