The Obamas’ trip to the Big Apple for the U.N. General Assembly certainly wasn’t all work and no play.
President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama indulged in some private gym and steam-room time at the Waldorf-Astoria’s Guerlain Spa Fitness Center before heading over to the United Nations on Tuesday, a source told amNewYork.
The two “enjoyed a private workout surrounded by several Secret Service agents” before hitting up the steam rooms, the source said.
While in town, the first couple is staying in the Waldorf-Astoria’s four-bedroom presidential suite, which costs a whopping $7,000 a night. They left the city last night.
The Obamas weren’t the only famous faces at the Guerlain Spa — Hillary Clinton also made a stop there earlier this week to “refresh and recharge,” the source told us.
