Former "Melrose Place" star Amy Locane-Bovenizer was sentenced to three years in prison Thursday for a 2010 car crash that killed a New Jersey woman, according to The Associated Press.

Locane-Bovenizer, 41, was convicted, by a jury in November, of crashing into another car, causing the death of Helene Seeman, 60.

She will be up for parole after 21/2 years, with a credit for the 81 days she's already served, according to the AP. Her license will be suspended for five years, and she will have three years probation after release.
