Former state Sen. Shirley Huntley pleaded guilty Wednesday to embezzling more than $87,000 in taxpayer money while she was in office.

Huntley, who faces five years in prison, would pay restitution for the money that went to a phony educational program in southeast Queens, according to prosecutors.

She lost the Democratic Primary in the fall, a few weeks after her federal indictment.
