"Fox & Friends" co-host Gretchen Carlson was duped on air Monday by a 20-year-old who posed as a disheartened 2008 Obama voter switching sides.
Max Rice told producers he was an unemployed college grad and former supporter of President Barack Obama who will vote for Mitt Romney this year , according to Politico.
During the broadcast, Rice responded to Carlson's questions with one-word answers, made little eye contact and referred to her as "Miss Universe," making for awkward dead air and frustrating.
She finally rushed Rice off air, less-than-genuinely saying she would "give Max another chance maybe when he's ready."
