The MTA Wednesday restored service to the entire G train line, though with heavy delays as crews continue working on getting it back up to full capacity.

The G was the last line to have some service restored after Hurricane Sandy, and, along with L train, has been the focal point this week of grumbling against the MTA's progress. Service along the B, D, F and Q lines was also extended Wednesday.

Still, the L is only running between Rockaway Parkway and Broadway Junction. The tunnels have been pumped and crews are work working to inspect and test for damage, but the MTA was hesitant to give a date for full restoration.

"They're still working 'round the clock, and we've got a lot of components to replace, so right now we don't want to make any promises," an MTA spokeswoman said.

The Hugh L. Carey and Queens-Midtown Tunnel aren't faring much better, as only buses during rush hours are allowed in as crews inspect for and repair damage. The agency declined to give a timeframe for when theycould open back up to all traffic.
