Newt Gingrich is still in it to win it.
The former House Speaker vowed to fight for the GOP presidential nomination against front-runner Mitt Romney, despite rival Rick Santorum announcing Tuesday he was suspending his campaign.
"I believe that now that we're down essentially to the two of us, we're going to gain delegates," Gingrich, 68, said on Fox News.
Ron Paul is also still in the race.
Gingrich continued campaigning in Delaware on Wednesday ahead of the April 24 primary and said he expected to pick up delegates in the North Carolina race next month.
