Lena Dunham is standing up for Oscar winner Anne Hathaway - but slamming awards show host Seth MacFarlane.

The creator of HBO's "Girls" threw her support to Hathaway after the "Les Miserables" winner gained major criticism for her dress choice, acceptance speech and emotion-filled actions on Oscar night.

"Ladies: Anne Hathaway is a feminist and she has amazing teeth," Dunham tweeted. "Let's save our bad attitudes for the ones who aren't advancing the cause."

Among them? MacFarlane, whom Dunham called out for performing his "I Saw Your Boobs" song during the show, which ID'd actress who have gone topless on film.

"'The ones who aren't advancing the cause' I mentioned aren't always, or mostly, women," Dunham wrote. "Case in point: I saw your boobs."

Dunham scored two Golden Globe Awards earlier this year for "Girls."
