Giuliani compares Obama, FEMA's Sandy handling to Katrina response

Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani slammed president's handling of Hurricane Sandy.

Speaking on Fox News "America's Newsroom" Monday, the Republican attacked President Barack Obama and FEMA for what he called their slow" response to storm victims.

"FEMA is as much a failure now as at the time of Katrina," he said.

The White House didn't comment on the former presidential candidate's remarks.

Giuliani went on to compare the situation to the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.

The former mayor, and other Mitt Romney supporters, constantly criticize Obama for not properly informing the public about the attack.

"The minute he got his pat on his back, we had the same situation as we had in Benghazi. He loses focus. He goes back to being campaigner-in-chief rather than commander-in-chief," he said.
