'Glee' star Darren Criss to head out on tour

"Glee" cutie Darren Criss is heading out on a 16-city solo tour in advance of his upcoming album, he announced yesterday.
"I couldn't think of a better way to spend the summer than being on the road and doing live shows," Criss, who plays Blaine on the FOX show, said in a statement.
The U.S. tour starts in Criss' hometown of San Francisco on May 29, with a stop at NYC's Roseland Ballroom on June 27. Tickets go on sale Saturday.
