Gov. Andrew Cuomo's once-superlative continues its slide, with the state's Republican voters now disapproving of his performance for the first time since he took office.
A Quinnipiac University poll out Tuesday showed that Cuomo's approval rating has dropped to 55% from its all-time high of 74% last December, and down from 59% in January. Fewer than half of Republicans approve, though Democrats are overwhelmingly still in his corner.
Here's how the numbers stack up:
55%: Overall approval rating among registered state voters
49%: Approval rating among Republicans
69%: Approval rating among Democrats
49%: Approval rating among Independents
