We've just barely rid ourselves of visions of Versace's pink palm trees and Greek key leggings and now there's a new H&M designer collaboration to consume our every thought. The brand announced Tuesday that it'll be joining forces with Marni for a spring collection to hit stores on March 8.
The Italian house - known for its quirky mixed prints, bold colors and atypical silhouettes - will create clothing and accessories for both women and men.
"I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints. As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colors, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic and adding sporty utilitarian elements," said Marni founder and creative director Consuelo Castiglioni in a media release.
According to the release, the silhouettes will be 100% Marni - full pleated skirts, dresses, cropped pants, fabrics such as jacquard knits, silk and crisp cotton poplin, and a range of jewelry, shoes, bags and scarves.
For men, the use of prints will be subtle, appearing in linings or in shirting detail.
Now only one question remains: Who's going to top Prince as the launch-party entertainment?
