Halle Berry gives birth to son

The stork made a special delivery for Halle Berry this weekend.

The Oscar-winning actress and her husband Olivier Martinez welcomed their son, whose name wasn't revealed by Berry's representatives. Berry and Martinez, both 47, married in his native France in July, a few months after she revealed she was expecting. It was the third wedding for the "Monster's Ball" actress.

Berry told media outlets she was surprised by the pregnancy when she learned about it but welcomed the new bundle of joy.

"I thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it's been a big surprise and the most wonderful," she told CNN.

She has a 5-year-old daughter, Nahla, from her previous relationship with Gabriel Aubry.
