The Heisman race is down to the final three.

Quarterbacks Johnny Manziel and Collin Klein, and linebacker Manti Te'o were named the finalists for college football's most prestigious award Monday.

The 78th annual Heisman Trophy presentation will be broadcast this Saturday on ESPN.

Te'o, a senior at Notre Dame, would become the first defensive player to win the award since Michigan's Charles Woodson in 1997.

Manziel, a redshirt freshman at Texas A&M, would be the first freshman ever to earn the Heisman.

Kansas State senior Klein let the Wildcats to an 11-1 record and a Fiesta Bowl berth.
