The NFL dominated Forbes’ list of the highest-paid coaches in American sports in a report released Wednesday. Eight of the top 10 call the shots of football teams, including Giants coach Tom Coughlin at No. 8. The other two on the list are from the NBA. Here’s the full top 10.
1. Sean Payton -- New Orleans Saints -- $8 million
2. Bill Belichick -- New England Patriots -- $7.5 million
3. Andy Reid -- Kansas City Chiefs --$7.5 million
4 Pete Carroll -- Seattle Seahawks -- $7 million

6. Doc Rivers -- Boston Celtics -- $7 million
7. Mike Shanahan -- Washington Redskins -- $7 million
