Some of New York's 32,000 airmen are in town for Air Force Week, showing city residents some of what they do around the world all year.

Among the free interactive displays at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum running through Tuesday are two "Supercars," the X-1 Ford Mustang and Vapor Dodge Challenger, designed by airmen and the mechanics from MTV's "Pimp My Ride."

Here are some other events you won't want to miss:

Carrying on a 60-year tradition, the Air Force's honor guard will show off their complex routines today at 1 p.m. at the Intrepid and at 5:50 p.m. at the Brooklyn War Memorial at Cadman Plaza, and tomorrow at 3:50 p.m. at the South Street Seaport.

The Air Force's seven-person band "Max Impact" will perform music today at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Intrepid, and tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the South Street Seaport.

A free showing of "Red Tails" at the Intrepid museum tonight- at 8:30.

Members of the Air Force will attend tonight's Mets game at Citi Field, which will include an aircraft flyover.
