Here's why it's crystal-clear the purported LiLo drug video is fake

In case you haven’t heard, a new video is making the Web rounds and has people jumping to some not-so-far-fetched conclusions.

The clip — which was first posted by x17.com — shows an “I’m not on parole anymore!” Lindsay Lohan making what appears to be a full-on transaction outside a Venice Beach bar.

Since you’ve got all the key elements — shady dudes, a baggie with some questionable material inside and an exchange of bills — folks are naturally assuming the swap was drug-related.

A few reasons why this is implausible:

1. There are tons of paparazzi around — you can hear them yelling for the 25-year-old starlet’s attention.

2. It’s broad daylight. We’re talking sunny and clear as day.

3. She stopped to chat with young fans right after the transaction in question.

A big reason why it could be plausible:

1. She’s Lindsay Lohan.

In any case, LiLo’s rep, Steve Honig, issued a sort of hilarious statement on Thursday: “The bag contained crystals that had been purchased for Lindsay at a local shop.”

Sounds nuts, yeah, but if you recall, last year Speidi nearly went broke due to their weird obsession with mystical healing crystals.
