Hillary Clinton, following her husband and daughter, signed up for a Twitter account Monday, fueling speculation that the former secretary of state may be gearing up for a 2016 presidential run.
"Thanks for the inspiration @ASmith83 & @Sllambe -- I'll take it from here... #tweetsfromhillary," Clinton's first tweet read, mentioning the two men behind an online meme last year called Texts From Hillary.
Clinton's Twitter bio pokes a little fun at herself, writing that she's a "Wife, mom, lawyer, women & kids advocate, FLOAR, FLOTUS, US Senator, SecState, author, dog owner, hair icon, pantsuit aficionado, glassceiling cracker, TBD..."
Husband Bill and daughter Chelsea both chimed in to welcome Clinton, 65.
"Does @Twitter have a family share plan? Great to be here with @HillaryClinton & @ChelseaClinton. Looking forward to #tweetsfromhillary," Bill wrote.
Chelsea added: "Welcome Mom!"
The account picked up more than 195,000 followers by press time.
