Hip Hop producer Scott Storch robbed at gunpoint in Times Square: Cops

The robbers took $5,000 in cash and more than $100,000 worth of jewelry, but no one was injured and no shots were fired, according to police.
Storch, 39, was standing outside 320 with an unidentified companion outside West 46th Street around 7 a.m.. when two armed men approached them.
Storch complied when the men ordered him to hand over his jewelry and a briefcase containing the $5,000 according to the NYPD. The robbers got into a SUV and drove off.
Storch, who's in New York City for the MTV’s “Video Music Awards” on Sunday, filed a police report after the incident. His reps did not immediately return requests for comment.
Storch, a Long Island native, rose to fame as a keyboard player for The Roots. He now works as a producer with notable musicians like P!nk, Dr. Dre and Eminem.
