Hit-and-run suspect indicted in fatal Brooklyn crash

Julio Acevedo was indicted Wednesday for allegedly leaving the scene of a car accident that killed a young Brooklyn couple.
Acevedo was driving on Kent Avenue in Williamsburg around midnight March 3 when he T-boned a livery cab carrying 21-year-old Nathan Glauber and Raizy Glauber, a 21-year-old who was seven-months pregnant at the time, according to the indictment. Their child was delivered, but died the next day.
The Brooklyn district attorney's office charged Acevedo with fleeing the scene of an accident that resulted in death and driving to Pennsylvania, where he stayed for four days before surrendering to the NYPD.
A defense attorney for Acevedo was not immediately available for comment.
