The Holland Tunnel will be open to all traffic in time for the morning rush hour.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Tuesday that the tunnel will open to all traffic beginning at 5 a.m. Wednesday. The Holland Tunnel connects Canal Street in Manhattan with Jersey City, N.J.
On an average weekday, about 91,000 vehicles use the Holland Tunnel to commute between New York and New Jersey.
