Ke$ha

Ke$ha. Everything from the pop-factory lyrics to the dollar sign in her stage name screams “manufactured.” But Oreos and Pizza Rolls are not exactly organic, and yet we save space for them in the pantry. Maybe a little cotton candy isn’t bad for our pop-culture diet.

Still, it’s good to take a look at the ingredients:

Two shots of Cyndi Lauper
Is it fair to judge Ke$ha based on “Tik Tok” when Lauper said nearly the exact same stuff 25 years ago on “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”? It is? OK.

One shot of Kylie Minogue
The Aussie pop star perfected the art of the tease in the early part of the 2000s. As catchy as “Tik Tok” might be, it has a long way to go to catch up with “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.”

One (watered down) shot of KRS-One
Ke$ha brags like a rapper, and there is no better MC when it comes to big-upping himself than the Blastmaster. (NOTE: No one tell KRS-One that we’ve mentioned him in the same story as Ke$ha.)

A rinse of the Beastie Boys
Ke$ha seems like the type who has fought for her right to party on multiple occasions.

A pinch of Ani DiFranco
Don’t laugh. Wipe away the glitter and over-the-top makeup job and you’ve got a songwriter out to stake her claim as a woman who will not give in to male dominance.

Douse in glitter
Seriously. Douse.

If you go: Ke$ha performs at Roseland Ballroom Wednesday at 8. 239 W. 52nd St., 212-247-0200, sold out.
