Police arrested a Brooklyn teacher Tuesday in connection with the summer stabbing death of his wife.

Jonathan Crupi, 30, will be arraigned in Staten Island Wednesday on murder charges, a spokesman for the Staten Island district attorney's office said.

Police discovered his wife, Simonette Mapes, 29, dead from multiple stab wounds in her Staten Island home in July.

The couple, who were both teachers at a Brooklyn public school, may have been estranged during the time of the murder, according to the DA's office.
